YOGA FOR ALL can2.jpg

The shift to online practice has been a unforseen gift of the global pandemic. In truth I am enjoying the peace and freedoms that “Virtual Yoga Practice” has brought. It has pushed me to break away from some of the mental constructs I had unconsciously held, and has been, and continues to be a wonderful learning curve.

I am grateful to be able to consistently gather with a community of those seeking connection back to self, and through the practice of Yoga.

I am grateful to this community of seekers and also to the innovators who have made it possible for our technology to allow this to be possible.

Being “together” on screens is different from being in the same room, but there are some advantages to it, and I had never dreamt of the possibility of global integration as such.

So if you are grieving the limitations of physical proximics and unconvinced about how Virtual yoga might work for you, I understand. But I invite you to try a class free of charge, with the investment of an open mind. And if it doesn’t resonate, that is also ok.

If the idea of technology and downloading more apps is overwhelming, I get it. I can also try to help you through this:

-We gather on zoom. This can be downloaded to your phone, tablet or compuer free of charge, with a simple one time sign in. https://zoom.us/freesignup/

-You can choose to turn your camera on or off, depending upon your feelings of comfort and circumstances that day.

-Some advatages of the camera are a feeling of connection, the ability to see your alignment in various Asana, and also for me to feel the pace and flow of the class.

-Payment can be sent via PayPal, e-tranfer or cheque, whichever option is viable for you. If you are not in a position to pay for the session, no one is turned away due to lack of funds. (paypal.me/BryonyOllier)

- $10/£5 per session. $100/£50 for 15 sessions of your choice, (no time limitations)

- Wear any clothing that feels comfortable. If you have any big books, or yoga blocks, they can be helpful to support our bodies in some asana (poses) If you can have a belt, or scarf handy, we can use this as a yoga strap for some movements.

- Make sure that you are warm enough. You might have a blanket ready for our relaxation.

- Yoga is best practiced when the stomach is not too full, (so try not to have a big meal before the practice.)

-Yoga is a practice, so like anything, it takes time to feel a sense of progress, or feel some sense of results

.-Yoga is non competitive.

- Yoga is about finding the right choices for yourself each time you come to practice.

- I encourage you to make time and space for the practice, so that you can be fully focused. If you can be a space without interruption great, if not, its ok. Try to silence or turn off any devices, so as not to distract.

- You are welcome to ask questions.
